| Back at GTech...finals next week...5 of them...3 of them on a tuesday...let the anal sensation begin. | | |
| So it's been a good month since I've lasat updated this thing. I figure most of you who still keep up with Xanga probably don't even bother clicking on mine anymore. That's understandable...the only thing that I even update anymore is The Facebook. If you don't have it yet, you should get it. It creeps up on you and before you know it, you'll be checking it at least once or twice a day.
Well school has been ok, not steller by any means. Taking 5 classes with only one being easy (history) might have something to do with it. Hopefully I'll come away with some decent grades. My job has been going well. For those of you who forgot or never knew, I am working part-time at this consulting company called CISQ. Got my first pay check last week...and decided to blow it all on one of these:
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I have finally given in to the ipod craze. I got the mini green 4 gb one. Whether it was worth 250 dollars, probably not, but what the hell. Sometimes you have to indulge a little, or in my case a lot hehe.
I'm going home for Thanksgiving this coming Wednesday, and it's about freakin time. I can't wait to see my family and friends back in Faytown. So be ready to throw some parties and drive my ass around...cuz I don't have any car insurance, again . But yeah, if you're reading this and living in Arkansas, chances are I'll be giving you a call and we can hang out and have a good time. Back to studying...see you AR people in a few days.
| Today I played in a 3 vs 3 basketball tournament. No, my team didn't win, but I got to defend one of Georgia Tech's former basketball players. His name is David Nelson. He's only 5'9", but dammmn the kid is quick. We lost to his team 5-7 in a 10 minute game. I had all 5 points . We had won our first two games, but lost to Nelson's team in the semi-finals. So close. | | |
| School is starting to suck now. After the strong beginning, I'm beginning to lose momentum. But at least I realize that this year compared to last and I will be doing something about it before it's too late. Damn all of java...it can go to hell.
Set a personal best in bench press last week...210 pounds .
Also got my co-op job back fo sho this time. If they decide to drop me again, look for a "chinese man gone ape shit at Georgia Tech" on CNN.
How we not preseason ranked in the top 5 for Gatech basketball? We got all our returning starters except one...stupid Dick Vitale.
Yankees are gonna win the World Series for the 27th time in league history.
I wanted to come home this fall break...but my parents are too cheap to buy me a plane ticket...I'll see you AR ppl in November.

| Man...been a while since I've even looked at this thing. Been so busy with school, job searching, and random stuff. Well first some rather good news about me. If you remember, I was suppose to work in Atlanta this past summer, but that got scratched because the company I was suppose to work for lost a lot of funding and wasn't able to hire co-ops such as myself. Well, I got a call from my co-op advisor last week, and he told me that the company got funding back and the lady that originally hired me wanted to visit me again. So basically I went back in for another interview yesterday and she offered to have me work this coming spring. But not only that, she also gave me a part time job to come in about 5-6 hours a week and get trained with the system while getting paid at the same time! Financially that will help me out some, but it's gonna make time constraints a bit more difficult. The bad thing about all this is that I will be required to take classes during the summer through Georgia Tech in one for or another. I'm thinkin about studying abroad in China and Singapore. They have an IE program there and I will be able to visit family which I haven't seen in years.
School is going well for me. Partying has been cut down a lot this semester since I'm currently inactive from my fraternity...but that's probably for my own good. I still hang around the guys I'm good friends with in the fraternity. I will say it's been tough, especially at the beginning of this semester, but I sucked it up and moved on.
As far as the ladies situation goes...well let's just say it's not exactly what I expected. Fellas...have you ever been thrown signs by a girl giving you the impression that she was interested and when you decide to respond, it was all either a miscommunication or she was just "being nice"? I will admit, this has happened to me on more then one occation, and I thought I learned from the first time. But apparently girls can be very tricky in how they express themselves and you find someone like myself looking like a fool...again...sigh oh well. I'm starting to sound like Linh...so I will stop...ahaha j/k hun. Dinner time.
